Rosemary & Mark Tramby organised a “ pre Rort caravan crew “ with 38 in total attended the event at Kilkivan Bush Camping from Thursday the 29th of April until Monday the 3rd of May.
It was a fantastic roll up and a brilliant addition to the 2021 Rort program.
The camaraderie was amazing with the campfires being the central point of these.

The 2021 RORT went from Tuesday May 4th to Sunday May 9th 2021.
With the Covid-19 pandemic causing a worldwide crisis, it was not possible to hold a RORT during 2020. A decision was made to defer the RORT (and AGM) to 2021. Kevin Huxham was able to maintain contact with the original vendors and a conduct a RORT in what could only be descrbed as difficult times.

Then it was lunch at Grunskies Seafood Restaurant, 70 downstairs and 30 upstairs, overlooking the Burnett River .

On 23rd June 2000, 15 Backpackers lost their lives in a tragic when the Palace Hotel burnt down.
We started the day at the historic Childers Paragon Theatre where the Mayor relived the horrific Childers Palace Hotel Fire

Whilst in Childers, the group seperate into 3 and 1 group went to Vinter's Secret Winery.
This evening we went to Bundaberg Bowling Club where the volunteers maned the bar whilst Elegant Catering provided us a BBQ dinner and we had music provided by a local senior aged band. At the end of the night we had to put tables and chairs back to the normal setup.

Saturday May 8th - Our AGM Day. Actually we had 2 AGMs -2020 and 2021 plus an special meeting to cover a procedual event. After the AGM, we returned that evening for the last major event at the Waves Sports clun in Bundaberg.
Sunday has arrived and it is time to say goodbye with BBQ breakfast provided by the Apex Club of Bundaberg
